Seriously. Does anybody really care about Quikair? I mean, other than the people who work there. Who the flock cares? Could there EVER be a more fricked up company? Who's PP going to screw this year?

Looks like you care!

The new Jetstreams are sweet. Going to be nice to see them flying and to see pax faces when the board. It is a long time in coming!

Cheers.

Looked at Quikair's website. Pretty impressive with 13 flights a day from the muni to Calgary to their private terminal. Is that the Avitat. Also Citation service on some of these flights but they don't say which ones. I thought that they stopped the flights out of the Muni. Is that now not going to happen?
The charter part of the webpage talks about Dash 8's and SF340 but do those planes belong to Quikair.
Sorry, one last question. What is that Quickpass thing. Part of Quikair? Thanks.

Four Jetstreams and the possibility of two Citations!

Flying mostly CYYC to CYXD sched...then eventually CYYC to CYEG when CYXD closes to 'southern traffic' this coming May.

J-31's and Citations will also be used on charter work.

Sounds pretty good to me considering the CYEG - CYYC corridor is growing like crazy with over a million people travelling between Edmonton and Calgary annually!

A million people. 9 at a time. That's only 411 trips per day, five days a week, 54 weeks per year. Gonna need a lot of citations. Or Jetstreams. Or, for that matter, 757s carrying 9 people at a time.

You can thank that A-Hole dictator and former CEO of ERAA for that stupid rule. I suppose he wanted what Montreal had...a white elephant (Mirabel) so he expanded his "palace" at CYEG with hopes to out perform CYYC. There is simply not enough population base in Alberta to support 2 International Airports let alon have one at CYEG. Specially when the great circle route from Victoria to Halifax takes you 60 nm south of CYYC.

You can tell an ex-Air Force General...but you can't tell him Sh*t!!

Flights are full almost every day between CYXD and CYYC. [/quote]
