OOPS! I almost crashed and died

Fotoflyer had a great idea for a new forum. The forum is titled " OOPS! I almost crashed and died" (thanks for the title Istp).

We all have had close calls that have changed the way we do business in our aircrafts. Lets hear your story so we can all learn from your past flying nightmare.

I take it that the guy that usually comes up with the forum names is on vacation? That's a good idea and a really stupid title. My initial reaction when I saw that was that the site had been hacked. Now I find out people actually put their minds together on this one? If you've got some time I'll tell you how I really feel too

Did you know the original title of War and Peace was going to be "War, what is it good for?"

How about, "PanPan" or "Tower...Confirm Three Green" or "Gravity is a Bitch" or "Desksgo's Greatest Misses".

like that would be interesting.

avcanada, the name is fine because it's alittle humourous. desksgo is just being his usual whiny self, I don't know what Haz sees in him. Do I have to spell it out for him? desksgo is an asshole, why do you think he can't work in Canada? its probably because he has too many charges of sexual harrassment or something like that, it would explain the asshole part for sure.

How about, "Whew! That was a close call!"

I was just throwing the "OOPS!..." out there, but it seems it is shocking enough to get some attention. I could see how it may seem a little callous to some, but maybe a little callousness will keep us on our toes.

The mods here could always have a suggestion thread for better names for a great thread idea, then have a poll to vote on it. But this is AvCanada, not Elections Canada, so ultimately it's up to the Administrator.

Back on topic I think that the Forum idea is a good one but the name needs reviewing. Maybe just "Damn, that was close!" or something like that. Oops is a word used by poufters and pansies when they accidently fart in company or tip over a glass of Pimms at an early morning tea or ass slapping session.!
