Herc's on the way. Fingers and toes crossed for a positive outcome
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
According to the CBC update, the plane has been spotted but there’s no update on the condition of the pilots.
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Some more info but no confirmation of finding the aircraft.

"I found that Right Rudder you kept asking for."
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Any word on pilots, or which King Air 200 it was?
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Can someone speak to the weather? Also names of pilots, I hope it isn't who I think
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Look in the comments section. It may be helpful.

My deepest condolences to the friends and family of those two pilots. Sad day indeed.

My condolences to everyone touched by this crash..

Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
I know it’s a bit early but if fatigue was the issue here Canada’s in trouble .
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Was this a medevac plane or a regular charter plane? The news articles are writing about a charter plane, but I've heard rumours that it might have been a medevac plane?
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

If it were a medevac flight I would suspect there would have been a flight nurse with them.

Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
It is way to early to speculate. However unless they flew all night i would think fatigue was not an issue considering they went missing at 09:30
Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Or fatigue could be that they were On minimum rest with few days of 14h+ duty in the body. Will see. Rest In Peace to the crew.

The strange thing is that within the same 2 day span, a King Air 200 went down in Alaska. So perhaps something to do with the Aircraft type?

I doubt it, its not like its a new type or anything.Longtimer wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:28 am The strange thing is that within the same 2 day span, a King Air 200 went down in Alaska. So perhaps something to do with the Aircraft type?

The only three things a wingman should ever say: 1. "Two's up" 2. "You're on fire" 3. "I'll take the fat one"

+1. Most likely a coincidence if anything.Redneck_pilot86 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:12 pmI doubt it, its not like its a new type or anything.Longtimer wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:28 am The strange thing is that within the same 2 day span, a King Air 200 went down in Alaska. Re: Air Tindi Flight Missing
Were these guys shooting an approach? Were they enroute? Very few details. This company had a fatal C208 accident not all that long ago. No red flags here.
