Just wondering what type of work they do, when they hire and what experience level they want. I have 2800h TT KingAir and 400 series Cessna experience so this looks like a good place to go, and my wife is from Regina.

from what i know they do a lot of mine work with cameco and cogema up north as well as some bag runs out of saskatoon. I've heard the pay isn't that great but the guys that work there love it.

I only know good things, pay is not that bad and I think there 401/402 are single pilot if you need the PIC

The company is good. They do bag runs from Saskatoon and Regina in the 401s, the 402 is charter along with the 414. Everything else seems to be mines and misc. charters. They pay is 1500/mo for 401 cpt (single pilot). The movement has been slow in the past. Most guys start on the ramp and move up. Occasionally and outside hire for the 401. If you want to go to Regina with that time you might look at Sask Gov't Air, as all WEW has in QR where 2 401s and a 414- last I checked at least.

And yet not a lot of turnover... they must be doing something right.

No thanks, I think I've heard enough. That's a kick in the teeth. What do the F/o's get per month...that's a hurtin' cheque.

 That 1500/mo. has GOT TO be bullshit. That averages to $2.25 an hour above minimum wage (based on 80 hrs/paycheque) Wow!

Is the 401 used for the bag run? How many hours per day would you actually work doing that?

On the bag run I heard its around 2 hours of flight tie per day. You hold all day. A few guys there actually held full time jobs in whatever town they stayed at as you arrive around 9am and leave at 5pm.

Means to an end....

I think (and I'm probably wrong) but out of yqr there are 2 2hour runs and 1 3.5 hr run. I think it was regina swift regina kindersly and regina yorkton. It could be different now. the yorkton and swift runs would be 2 hrs each and I think kindersly was 3.5

Only two runs out of Regina. YQR-YQV-YQR (1.8 hrs) and YQR-YYN-YKY-YYN- YQR (3.5 hrs).
