Salary and mileage will be
supplemented with a $1000 cash bonus after 3 months employment and a $5000 cash
bonus after 300 days of incident free duty along with a annual minimum
guarantee of 50,000 miles. Subsidized housing is available if desired.

Salary:$2500 base + .10 / mile

Well now that sounds alot better, and it'll be a full time thing.

Nah, he's getting short-changed now on the MU-2. The Navajo job pays a lot more than f/o on the MU-2, which is 24k a year plus a few bucks here and there for food.

I remember meeting Mike @ a CASO course 2-3 years ago...he talked of having a positive work environment and wanting to treat his people like professionals. He is true to his word and I wish I had the courage to move back up there and work for him just because guy's like these are so few and far...but I can't find the energy or the will to move back up there.

Hats off to a young guy trying to make a buck...by doing it the right way.

Its been awhile since I posted on here. I had to comment on Superior Airways. Even though I applied for the position and seemingly have been turned down, its obvious that "mike" is paying fairly and trying very hard by posting on here. As well as opening himself up to critisism from 200hr wonders and people that didnt like him from the past or whatever the case may be. I think hes got balls and a very positive attitude in regards to trying to treat his employees right and fairly. He goes out of his way to make sure that everyone knows hes at least trying and does indeed care about his team.

I personally feel that anyone that gets this position is lucky and should appreciate it even though its a hiring boom. You could do far worse then YRL.. I spent my first year commercially up there and kinda hoped maybe i`d get this gig at Superior

I Guess YRL didnt want me back lol.

Here's My 2c.

MOST of you are a bunch of F**king hypocrits! When MM posted a thread on here looking for a SPdriver to pay under the table and it was $4200/month, a lot of you screamed bloody muder and assumed the worst regarging everything about his company from the way he treats his pilots to just short of "he must be killing babies!"

So NOW he posted on the job forum with what I would consider an outstanding deal, and now lots of you who were bashing him, have had a complete 180 degree change of perspective. BULLSHIT you IGNORANT LITTLE WHINY LITTLE SH*TS!

I've never worked for Superior, I already work somewhere else, but i have spoke with MM about working there part time (fill in on my days off). He seemed like a good guy who Genuinely cared about his company and those who make it work and not just the profit margines.

So for all of you who bashed MM and his company before, change your attitude because the Aviation industry doesn't owe you the world just because you fly a medium or a jet, or " I work my ass off on the ramp" or because "back in your day things where different!". Those kinds of attitudes are garbage, they're the worst thing that has happened to this industry.

I slageed a short term job that seemed to be a little light on the pay, offered my two cents,yeah this full time pay scale looks very nice. Good rant though broompusher, for a guy who used to fly Ho's commercialy for ZERO dollars.
