Hello,
Thinking of doing my Class 4 instructor rating anyone used them for their online GS?
any information will be great.

Had a Flight Instructor candidate of mine go through Harv's for the ground school portion, and come flight test day they refused to accept a program other than the instructor's ground work. Luckily enough, myself and my student did more than the required amount of ground work and my student said he did benefit from doing some preliminary work through Harv's. However, be aware that you and your instructor will be going through at least 25 hours of ground work alone.

I used their program around 2014 when I did my instructor rating.

It was very thorough, which all Pilottraining.com courses are, but seemed to be a copy and past of their online ground school for the PPL which a bunk mate of mine was using. I believe it also included a section on learning factors and instructor exam related material which made it quite a bit of material to cover.

The comment above is correct as well. You will still have to complete the appropriate number of ground school hours with a class 1 instructor to be able to take the exam.

My suggestion is if you still feel sharp from your CPL ground school the program may be slightly over kill and using the Sharper Edge or other Instructor specific study books may be better. And as I mentioned I completed this program 5ish years ago so the program may have changed since then.
