Air Canada News:
Embraer 170 flight simulator arrives in Toronto this week This week, Air Canada will take delivery of its first Embraer 170 flight simulator. Manufactured in Montreal by CAE, the simulator was tested by a group of employees from Flight Operations and CAE. Due to its size, the simulator was then disassembled and transported to Toronto by truck. Once all components arrive at our Flight Simulator Building, technicians from Air Canada and CAE will install and test it again. Pilots will have access to this new simulator by the end of February. The airline has also purchased an Embraer 190 flight simulator, which is scheduled to arrive in July 2006.
