Medical done, no mail at home yet - please advise
Hello members,
I did medicals with TCA approved doctor over a month ago and doctor told me that I will receive a letter by mail at my house, its been a while and I have not received anything, can you please tell me what to do next? is it possible to track it by contacting TCA? Please provide some tips.
Thank you

I have been hearing the same thing from a bunch of students. I believe that its just a backlog from limited staff during COVID. Maybe contact your TC regional office and seek advice though you may get the same answer.

I emailed the regional office about 7 weeks ago and have not yet gotten a reply.

I've been trying to verify that my CAT 1 medical is valid since APRIL. I just received written confirmation this past Friday.
Alternatively, I discovered this Transport Canada website https://gart.tc.gc.ca/GetAccess/Saml/SS ... lang%3Deng
You can see every written exam and flight test (with scores), medical, type ratings, etc going back to the beginning of your first training. Really interesting stuff. It also verified that my medical was in fact assessed as FIT back on August 6th, but again I only received an email from Transport confirming that last week.

I had my initial Cat 1 done January 15th of this year. I got my sticker in the mail on May 15th. You may be waiting a while, but rest assured, it will come.
I will dance the sky on laughter-silvered wings.

maybe different now. But a few years back as CP of a 704. I had to call TC and browbeat them to get there thumb out and print renewal and medical stickers. (called about 10 days before the 90 day due) for about 4-5 pilots(PPC's over a 2 day period) and they blamed us for not being proactive, and that it was" in the queue". I disparaged them for not doing their job, they then wanted us to pay for temporary licenses/medicals. I asked her to look in her directory for this #(XXX-XXX-XXXX), and told her that was my next call. Instant attitude adjustment "nobody wants to be the reason for a call from the RDG"
