Hey folks
Im looking for work in Kelowna, straight out of SAIT and wantin' to re-locate to the interior. I would love it if there is any good advice on who to apply to and if there are any industry tricks for getting a good job.
Looking for heli work
Thanks

Alpine helicopters, but they don't generally take green apprentices.
Northern air support - again, mostly desire experienced guys, but you might luck out.
Skyline - These guys apparently only take experienced ame's.
There's also another guy just down the road from alpine, runs red machines, mostly mediums. Can't remember the name. Right next to the pick your part.
Your most realistic chance is Alpine Aerotech, across from Alpine. They have taken apprentices in the past. They pay shit though, and the valley is not a cheap place to live. Same as Cowtown, plus 10 cents more a litre for gas and an additional 7% provincial sales tax. So think about it before you take the plunge, particularly on an apprentice wage.
Tips for getting a job, experience. Tips for getting a good job, none. Still trying to find one.
