Harvs Air For ATPL
Has anyone done this course recently? Is it a good place to start studying for the a's
I used their stuff for CPL and Inrat. Yes, lots of extra information which most people don't like but I don't mind. I did find that the information was a bit dated but I got decent marks.
Since things are always changing, and these exams are more difficult than the others; I'd like to see if anyone can give me their viewpoint on using this course. Feel free to PM me
Thanks ahead of time

You got good marks, so I wouldn't screw with a Good Thing. It seems to work for you. And things don't change in aviation training that much - we're still using 1930's slide rules.
You're way ahead of where I am - but I think it's working for you.

Give Aerocourse a shot if you’re able. I used them for my INRAT a few years ago and loved every second of it. 100% plan on using them for the A’s when I get around to doing them.

If you need it to be flexible and you don't mind the cost nor extra stuff - do it - if not, take advice from someone who has done it. I haven't so I'm not going to say one way or the other. That's just common sense.triplebarrel wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 6:57 pmcool thank youTurboprops wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 1:21 pm Used it last year, wayyyy too much “nice to knows” i wouldn’t recommend it.
But I have done Harv's right up to and including the Instructor course. I also have a lot of time on my hands....
Glad you're writing them!! Had to switch out Class 1's. Didn't work out but thanks again for the option!
Good luck! Let us know when you don't fail!

yeah just thinking ahead here with the current situation we all have a lot of extra time on our hands. I appreciate the viewpoint. Helps quite a bit because the other harvs did work for meRedAndWhiteBaron wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 9:05 pm You got good marks, so I wouldn't screw with a Good Thing. It seems to work for you. Re: Harvs Air For ATPL
they were sick for INRAT however it was more of a refresher/tying up loose ends. I went in after the harvs, got updated on the need to know info. Killed the exam. The best part of the whole thing Id say was actually the workbook. I've heard good things for the atpl course but it's probs a refresher-type situation as well? lemme know if you have feedback from someone whose done it somewhat recently. although there's probs a bunch of posts for it on here. thanks!Heavy Rayn wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:33 am Give Aerocourse a shot if you’re able. yeah for sure, I mean ill have to search more and more on what people use but to my knowledge, it's mostly self-study with things like aero course (workbook), nizus, harvs, AIM, wx command manual etc. So essentially it's flexible anywayTuza wrote: ↑Tue Jan 05, 2021 4:48 pmIf you need it to be flexible and you don't mind the cost nor extra stuff - do it - if not, take advice from someone who has done it. Re: Harvs Air For ATPL
We updated the ATPL/IATRA course in 2020. All new videos.
IFR also being updated now with new video content, it's about 75% done, with the rest to be done in the next month.
