Mystery King Air operator out of Winnipeg?

Post by LeadSled204 »

Does anyone have any information regarding the company that posted the King Air FO position out of Winnipeg yesterday? (Jan 22, 2021)
northyt.hr@gmail.com is the email they went resume's sent to but nothing comes up search wise.
I apologize if sharing their email isn't allowed.

A lot of operators are doing this now. Any job posting on Av Canada is getting 500 plus resumes in less than 24 hours. My friend who posted a job a few months ago said the number of resumes he received crashed his server. He also had 100 people try and call the company office even though he didn’t list a phone number. (i guess they just found it on their website?)

Companies have started creating throw away accounts to stop their business from getting pelted with resumes or phone calls. My friend still says he gets tons of resumes and phone calls (mostly repeats) even long after his original job posting expired.

Ah gotcha, that makes sense and not surprising one bit! So as I typically try to somewhat tailor my cover letter to the specific company (ie. chief pilot/company name/type of operation they are), do they just want the broadest cover letter or even none at all and just a resume? I appreciate the response!

As insightful as this is, I too, would also like to know to whom this mystery GMAIL address may belong to. I am wary of sending my resume containing personal information to an unidentifiable operator/person.

I figured that as well, one of my buddies who's based out of YWG said that it's usually a major red flag if they don't list the company name.

I'd hazard a guess it's SkyNorth or Wings, since they're only other King Air operators out of YWG besides FastAir.
