Of course we do, interviews this week...about 1/2 were light twin. Just the quality, places flown and type of flying you do with the twin makes the difference. Not necessarily staying with one company helps too. round yourself, try and get the best experience in the shortest time without hurting the company(s) and being proactive, good work ethic along the way goes far in our interview. If you look at this it kinda follows our pre screen questions...

Well that sounds like a decent hiring practice. Do you notice a reflection of the lower hour requirements in the interviewing, or are the majority of candidates still higher time individuals?

You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Just wondering, while many of my colleagues are currently leaving the miltary, I was wondering if many are coming to WestJet with an application?

I know of a half dozen from YTR here who have gone to ACA, a handful have gone to Zoom (because we all seem to know one another) and others have left to join friends at Skyservice. I was just curious if any military were apllying to WestJet also.

Cheers

Certainly, There are probably 20+ or so ex military pilots here. Ranging from hornet pilots herc and auroras. There is one fellow on the next course Feb 6th, who was a fighter pilot and then went to alta flts flying a metro.

Is there any luck for pilots shy of the 1000 pic getting in?

Thanks,
