I'm actively looking to do my float rating in the area of Vancouver. Any recommendations?

On another note, is Professional Flight Centre the only school in the area with a Da-42?

Would recommend Fort Langley Air LTD for the float rating!

A little bit further CYXX Chinook Helicopters has 3 DA-42 for multi ifr training.

Sea Land Air has DA42 as well.
Why do you want to use DA42 to train though?

I’m not sure if that’s true for your first/second job.
Most 703/4 are still using steam guages with prop/speed levers. Some of them don’t even have gps, or gps made some 50 years ago that basically have no moving map.
Google KLN90B, pair that up with a six pack without autopilot, your glass time will be a disadvantage at that point.
My opinion has always been:
I’ve never heard anyone saying it’s too hard to use a G1000, a couple hours of playing around with it and you’re good to go.
What’s most likely to happen is the difficult transition from glass with autopilot to six pack hand bombing it down to mins.
I know that’s probably not going to change your mind, but just throwing it out there
