On-Board Internet Options for General Aviation?

Post by Dronepiper »

Hello,

What are the best options for onboard internet for a GA airplane? Specifically a piston twin that cruises at FL200.

Thanks!

Deep pockets!

I’ve looked into it on behalf of my employer but the costs are prohibitive....

Choosing a route that goes over cell towers.

I have heard estimates of $70K + $100/hour (USD).

I would wait for Starlink to figure out a solution.
