That Doc on Joe Rogan said its not possible... So I found the news interesting. But apparently these athletes are testing positive but are also asymptomatic.

But this is bad news all around. If natural immunity is not possible, I don't think vaccine immunity is possible either. Hence the boosters. Or can we accept that infection is fine and life as normal if asymptomatic?

Your body is full of viruses that can be dormant and be asymptomatic. If you’ve ever had a cold sore you already have the herpes virus (HSV1) and there is no cure for that. I don’t think the Covid is going away anytime soon but in a few years we will be looking back at it fondly when we realize what the future holds.

Well, it was a aspiration. The best vaccines anyone could design were created - several different ones, by different groups - and they were all tested. It would have been credible if one or more of them had provided permanent effectively total protection, as some vaccines against some diseases do, but there was no way to know in advance, and nobody made any promises to that effect, for sure.

Don’t you remember the relief the world felt when the results of tests were that the efficacy was around eighty to ninety percent for the mRNA vaccines?

Remember how we said we know masks work because we eradicated the flu in 2020!?

We also know masks work because delta is nearly eradicated too! It’s only 8 percent of cases in Ontario now, probably be gone in a week.

The trick is we have to train our masks… they recognize delta now because we taught them, however they don’t know omniunicorn yet.

In a few months they will be trained for omniunicorn recognition and this variant will go away too

While Spinner sees little evidence the Omicron variant is causing more severe disease in children than previous variants did, he's also seeing no evidence it's milder.

"We do everything we can to keep a child out of the hospital. So if they're admitted to the hospital, then that means that they're already pretty sick," Spinner said.
