Bed Bugs

Post by currysonic »

Anyone have any experiences bringing them back from a hotel?

I've been in maybe 100 hotel rooms last 2 years, so far no issues thank god... But just wondering if anyone ever had a problem.

Nope but I inspect the room (pulling all the sheets off the bed) as soon as I check in and am fanatical about keeping my bags away from all cloth surfaces.

Once home, everything goes into the washing machine immediately including my bag (I use an el cheepo World Famous cloth bag)

So far so good!

If you go in the States, there is all kind of websites tracking which hotel could have some.
One example: https://www.bedbugtracking.com
Probably not that accurate I guess.

More than half of my time in hotels in the last 20/25 years and so far nothing.
But same, once home everything goes into the washing machine. I also tend to always have my luggage closed in hotel rooms as in some countries, you never know what might creep up inside.
