Between the three B WB aircraft in your fleet, all three much similar for handling characteristics. I would assume the ‘87 has the most advanced avionics & automation.

The 737-800 has two engines and can be hand flown by using the control column, thrust levers, and rudder pedals.

I figured I would post vague information about an airplane so that Old fella would not feel alone.Transition9er2 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 6:51 pmParticipation medal for you. Re: ‘67/77/87
My question was probably a little vague, I should have said “ do all three have similar……”
I may have given the impression I know something about these aircraft types which is far from the truth. I know absolutely nothing about these airplanes.

If it makes you feel any better... neither do I.
Scroll down to hear other people's opinion on how little I know.
Re: ‘67/77/87
The '67 certainly shows its age, it has for a while but I'd argue might be the most popular in the 'Pilots Aircraft' category. It's a 185,000 Kg '57 Chevy, simple, if something is broken it's actually broken, you don't see Maintenance engineers doing a lot of circuit breaker resets. Pre-787 the Mainline 767's had a great selection of flying, and the rouge airplanes certainly did before they were parked.
I've never flown the 787 but friends who have flown both 777 & 787 have told me they prefer the Triple, but that's just their opinion. The reason given was that they preferred the relative simplicity of the older aircraft. Both airplanes do they same job but the 787 takes a lot longer to pre-flight, it also pays less. Most pilots bid for positions based on pay and quality of life, not which airplane they enjoy flying the most.
