any tips ?
Currently in Edmonton but can move elsewhere. I have 1800 total time and about 450 multi (most of it PIC) and lots of cross country/cross border flying. My question, if anyone knows of companies currently looking for F/O on PC-12 or other aircraft. Airsprint, Peace Air, Airco, Alta flights.
Thanks
Thanks
You don't think that with 1800 hours and 450 multi you might be ready to be a big boy and sit in the left seat somewhere? Where is your pride man? I'm not sure you're really in the game more than a speedbump for people with 500 hours total
Peace Air is actively looking for people to work the ground and is saying 6-12 months for an upgrade to f/o on the 12.

Ok first of all, I have already acted as Captain on a larger twin BUT 1800 TT is not alot of time and therefore although the experience I have is good there is still LOTS to be learned and the likelyhood of finding a Captain position to start maybe unlikely. I was simply asking where the companies might be that are currently seeking flight crews. Just looking for some friendly advice from people that might have the scoop.

Send a resume to Voyageur Airways; they may have an online application too, check their website.......if you have the ATPL (or at least the writtens) you are just what they want. The way movement is now you will see the left seat of a King Air in about 6 months depending on the base.
Check the pilot career center website the helpful guy above this sent you, under "Ontario".

What the hell is a C/V anyway. I get lots of resumes but sometimes I get these things people call C/V's and I . em out cause I have no idea what a C/V is.slowstream wrote: I am fairly certain that Alta Flights is looking or a the very least accepting and reviewing C/V's
Good Luck

Curriculum Vitae (C/V) is a fancy way of saying resume (more or less). A resume is usually 1-2 pages (better have a good reason for having it 2 pages in aviation) whereas a C/V is a more detailed summary of your educational and academic background as well as teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations and other details.
A C/V is more relevant to academic and "professional" type positions.
I think some people get C/V confused with cover letter, which is rather unfortunate because this makes them look more inept than what they would want when presenting themself to a potential employer.
