Pending delisting. That doesn't sound good...theflyinghotdog wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 7:54 am Surprised nobody has said anything about CHR being halted for the past few days.
Apparently, it's being delisted.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Rumour has it Pivot Airlines is the buyer. Looking to convert the fleet for South America cargo flying.
Re: Chorus stock halted
The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Chorus Aviation Inc. voting and variable voting share purchase warrants will be delisted at the close on April 6, 2022. According to the TSX, the warrants will expire at 5 p.m. Toronto time on April 6, 2022.
The warrants are exercisable at $6.20 per share until the expiry time. Trades in the warrants on April 4, 2022, will settle on April 5, 2022, trades on April 5, 2022, will settle on April 6, 2022, and trades from the open to 12 p.m. Toronto time on April 6, 2022, will settle on the same day.
I'm no expert on this but it looks like they are delisting the warrants that expired. Not regular CHR stock.

Re: Chorus stock halted
Chorus stock is CHR.TO. This news is for CHR.WR, supposedly it's only the warrant expiring.

For those of us unfinancially adept, what does this mean? Warrants?

Buying a stock warrant gives an investor the right to purchase X number of shares, at Y price on a given date. It’s similar to a stock option.mmm..bacon wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 9:51 am For those of us unfinancially adept, what does this mean? Warrants?

Each full Warrant shall entitle the holder thereof to purchase one Common Share at an exercise price of $6.20 at any time for a period of 12 months following the closing of the Offering.

Don’t know the stock. If presumably below $6.20, would guess the warrants expire worthless?

Re: Chorus stock halted
Essentially yes. The warrants opened for purchase in March 2021, at that time the stock was trading at roughly 5$. Someone who was bullish on CHR could purchase warrants for 6.20$ and exercise their option to buy at any period within that 12 month span, say for example if the stock went up to 8$. At the current moment CHR is trading just under 4$, so the 12 month warrants expired effectively worthless.rookiepilot wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 11:59 am Don’t know the stock.
