any news on the next CMSC?
Title says it all, is the may review happening? or will it be pushed back because the last one was delayed?
Re: any news on the next CMSC?
I don't expect to see one until June at the earliest. That will put us back on the "normal" cycle. That said I can't see many changes, there's still a lot of vacancies that need to be filled by new hires.

Re: any news on the next CMSC?
Traditionally the largest moving CMHC bids are Aug to Oct each year. That is the start of the planning for the following summer. Most everything after that is tweaking for summer. Any bid now will be tweaking for next winter or possibly cargo.
But again. The late summer to fall bid is the one to watch if there is going to be movement.

I'm surprised that committee has not been forced to change their name to gender neutral in this woke society
Re: any news on the next CMSC?
crew peopling committee sounds weird though

Most Jr vs active pilots: does that mean that AC has 392 inactive pilots? That seems like a lot.a2btrail wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 6:33 am Update for all who care to know.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: any news on the next CMSC?
Seniority numbers are assigned Jan. 1 each year. All the retirements between Jan. 1 and today are included in those 5223 seniority numbers to the most junior pilots. Probably +/-125 pilots... hopefully more...
Re: any news on the next CMSC?
Also resignations...
About 12 resignations on this bid alone... I'd have to go back, but I think that's the most I've seen maybe ever... There used to almost never be a resignation, in the last couple years it has been increasing. More on every bid.

Re: any news on the next CMSC?
14 thanks, I didn't count just saw a bunch of them... anyway, those guys, the retirees, the terminated pilot, etc. all have seniority numbers of the 5223 that the most junior pilot represents.
Re: any news on the next CMSC?
Training department pilots are not inactive pilots (CP, MPQ, Standards are all management pilots, FI's are not)rudder wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:06 amManagement pilots/Training department pilots/GDIIP/Mat Leave/LOA.digits_ wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 7:32 amMost Jr vs active pilots: does that mean that AC has 392 inactive pilots?
