Any bites with 600 total time?
Hello aviators once again.
Just my two cents and thoughts on what some call is a pilot shortage .
I’ve been flying over 30 years on and off and currently stand at 600 hours total which include over 100 pic on twins and float time.
Also over 30 years in the airline industry below the wing ops, just wondering if there are any possible pilot jobs for a semi retired guy like me to gain employment. With the new fatigue rules coming into effect as well, just thoughts and thanks

Re: Any bites with 600 total time?
Hello aviators and good morning
With my 600 hours which includes over 100 pic on twins and 95 hours of float time (50 on straight 185) I’m given an opportunity to be a partner co-owning an advanced ultralight flight school.
I’m almost retired and still want to have a crack at something bigger to end the rest of my flying years flying something like a dash 8.
I currently have an ultralight instructor rating and an expired class 4 , Should I be a partner in the ultralight world and log time there or retain my class 4 and see to gain some more time and maybe have a crack at the regional job.
My 30 years below the wing are with Air Canada/jazz .
Just some thoughts on what you aviators would choose
Thanks again

Hey lidi, i am at 650-700 right now and have been applying to a lot of places ( not being picky at all) and have not received any calls/replies.
I believe that my resume is decent ( i have had proof read by a lot of actual pilots/Hr agents )
Every single job is now 1000hrs from what i see with even the 750 ( but people way over 1K are applying for those jobs)
I also see some king air jobs - 250 -500 and have had no replies with them
anyone else been applying at around 600-700 have had some chance ?
