I feel for the aircrew who have to apologize for this type mismanagement….

With that said, it’s pretty hard to turn off/ on one of the biggest industry’s in Canada like a light switch. I’ll also give the feds a very large dollop of responsibility as well.

I'm convinced airlines literally do not care. at Jazz we got an email claiming we're "normally staffed". We are cancelling so many flights a day. Tomorrow there's at least 10 open pairings in YYZ and no reserve coverage.

I think they're all holding out until fall/winter hoping it'll calm down.
