Inaction on the part of the Canadian government to secure the release of this crew has been insufficient and absolutely disgusting. To be blunt, the incompetence of the foreign affairs department is bush league. Far too many inexperienced and unqualified hacks pretending to be important while pissing away tax payer money doing very little to bring this drummed up arrest to a close.
The DR is nothing more than a corrupt banana republic and Canada, a country our government tells us is the greatest, can't even negotiate the release of this innocent crew.
Are Canadian airlines still operating to the DR? If so, why?
How long has it been?
Canadian pilots have abandoned this crew as well. Next to nothing, not even a representative collective voice has joined in the fight to get these guys home?
Quite the band of brothers.
Wanna bet Griner is back in the States before our crew is brought home???
