……...But if your resume is professionally made with no spelling or grammatical errors, you will be hired.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a good pilot, as long as you have Microsoft Word :P

You've got to be kidding me. Seems like the way the industry is right now that spelling mistakes shouldn't matter; as long as you can walk on your 2 hind legs you should be considered a suitable candidate.

Lol, if you write "to d*ck f*cker" and have a PPC and all the time they want they'll hire you.... They can take all the last bs bit to the bank and stuff it, because they're not gonna higher the kid with 200 hours and MS Word and no ppc...

I wauz just gong to start a new tread when I saw dis one. It's nice of him to let us all know he's a dick to work for. He is also full of shit as he would be on his knees with a mouth full if you had a current PPC and the shittiest resume ever.

I heard he is a treat to work for, just ask the guys in YVT. If this is how he treats you before you are hired just think what it'll be like working under him. Thanks but no thanks.

Now, Now, children.

When you know up front what you are dealing with you know how to deliver your resume.

Especially the PPC because that should be delivered " Special Delivery " you deliver it where he will need an anal scanner to read it.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

If standing up to management on behalf of pilots and giving guys s**t for coming close to exceeding duty times is being a dick then you deserve the crappy boss you have now. He is also trying to get raises all round.
I would work for him anytime.

Looks alright to me...

Heave

1. To throw (a heavy object) with great effort; hurl: heave the shot; heaved a brick through the window.
2. To throw or toss: heaved his backpack into the corner.
3. To utter with effort or pain: heaved a groan of despair.
4. To vomit (something).

You guys still claim flying to be a PROFESSION, huh? It's getting tough.

Fotoflyer makes a good point. DW is a good guy, unfortunately his efforts will likely fall on deaf ears. :x

Desko, my missteak.

I was referring to the hole centence he used butt only put in the last portion of it. Was not referring to the heave part but the sentence structure.

Yup, I know. The grammar is about as good as it gets in this industry though  .

I'm not sure what is upsetting me most, the idea that he went so far as to indicate that poor resumes are getting heaved or that he received so many bad ones that he was compelled to plead with us.

Again, I do not care for either scenario.
