Insurance rates because of fiona and ian hurricanes
Read an article 7-9billion for the 2 storms and ian isnt done with the east cosat the underwriters are going to have fits for the next several months and consumers will obviously see rates rise for home auto and some aircraft rates stayed tuned renewal time going to get pricey
Re: Insurance rates because of fiona and ian hurricanes
Isn't there significant damage due to hurricanes and tornadoes every year in the US?
The news always makes it out to be a world ending event. It's obviously terrible for the affected people, but insurance rate wise I doubt we will be affected much.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Probably more localized. Aircraft insurance is more expensive if you base your plane in Florida so that will likely increase. Shouldn’t affect someone with a plane hangared safely in the midwest.
