jumpseating, standby, etc?
Hi,
Does anyone here know if there is a policy on jumpseating at companies like Flightcraft and Cargojet, etc? (or airline standby?)
I would really like to get out to the prairies from YHM (or YYZ) for a day for an interview. I have a feeling it would get me the job. Unfortunately, I cannot spare the means for a ticket out there as I am saving for initial living expenses at the new job, so this is my last option.
So who do I call? What kind of answer can I expect? PM me.
I'm even willing to help push cans and pack bellies until the flight leaves.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Most cargo operators only have insurance for company employees. Some for all employees and some for employees on company business only. It usually saves the company a lot of hassle.
The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

I kind of wondered how far you could get if you dressed decent and hung around FBO's asking if anybody can spare a seat anywhere. Especially if you were a fellow flier you might get some free travel. For what it's worth I'd give you a seat if it were up to me, but guaranteed you don't want to go where I fly.
