My info is one new aircraft and one new crew.
The pilots they have are already overworked. As the people making the schedule seem to be of the opinion that if they work fourty hours a week pilots should fly fourty hours a week, i am not surprised by this decision.
However for those of you who do not consider days off as important to your quality of life, this looks like a good job.

I don't think that any of LAS flight crew are over worked. I think these guys fly for LAS because they love to fly and not because they want to hold the so called "glory" of being a jet pilot. All these guys knew what they were getting into when they got hired and that my friend is what flying is all about. Working hard and being part of team!
While i do not want to disenchant our idealistic youth, i fly for money. I suspect i am not the only one. So far flying for me has been all about being professional and proficient and nothing at all about working hard. For myself being part of a team is a fairly recent development and while it is a discernible element, it is not the largest one.
As for LAS, crews are getting called in regularly on their days off. Both i and the LAS pilot i spoke to consider this overwork.
