Haven't received anything since my standby offer April 2019 or 2020, are you a new applicant or been waiting as well? Also congrats!

If you look over at Reddit's r/atc, a bunch of people got VFR and IFR offers over the past 2 months. I think I know 4 posters now that's in the Feb course lol

I applied in june of 2020, and didn't hear back about FEAST until march of this year.

Congrats! Were you on stand by or just received an offer out of the blue?

What was the rough timeline for those who got offers? I did FEAST for YWG back in November and got word in December I'm eligible for an interview. Now just waiting...

Yes, but not until april!

I am finishing my degree right now and asked if I could start later. They (very graciously) allowed me to start on april 4th, after my degree finishes. So lucky and exciting!

If you are interested, get in touch with me and maybe we could study the ABC together and help each other out preparing for the first exam.

That's pretty interesting since everyone will have had learned a lot of material in those 2-3 months. Did they explain how it'll work for you or how you'll be expected to catch up?

Nope, all they told me was to report to the ACC April 4th. Curious to see how it plays out!

Wow that’s super interesting. There’s lots to learn in generic training, SIM and MATs. Best of luck to you! Work harder than you’ve ever worked in your life.

Doesn’t sound interesting, sounds nutty. If he flunks, all he says is. “Hey it’s not fair, I wasn’t given the same training & opportunity as Student A.” Sounds like YWG selection process is desperate or we have a failure to communicate.

I’m betting that the Feb and April start dates are for different courses altogether ie Feb is an enroute course and April is a terminal course or vice versa.

Ya that could be likely. I didn’t think they ran generic enroute/terminal that close together.

Spot on, there is no way they would expect someone to make up three months, has to be different courses.

Friend who works there confirmed that the April course is for YWG terminal, not EnRoute, which just started.
