Hi All,

Wanted to ask if anyone got a gs date from jazz or is waiting in the pool? I finished the hiring process and wanted to get an idea how long I have to wait before getting a call.

Here’s the thing about being in the pool: you’re really in the pile. Someone scores higher than you in the recruitment process, they go in the pile above you; someone scores lower, they go below. People are constantly being added to the pile. When the company wants to put together a groundschool they draw from the top. Depending on the type of applicants they see it’s possible to be in the pile forever, though a smart pile manager (be it human or computer) would automatically accrue experience for those in waiting.

Been in over a month now. Don’t think I’ll hear anything until sometime next year probably around spring. Just keep updating your hours and qualifications with them and eventually you’ll reach the top.
