My parents have this old clock that was made out of a wooden propeller. This is what is engraved into the wood:
Top:
D.6-44.P.4-42
L.L. 791
Mar. 1941
Bottom:
DRG. 5220. SC.
Gipsy, Major. 1C (or IC hard to tell)
I think it is from a Tiger Moth from March 1941, but I am far from certain. TIA for any insight.

Re: Vintage Wooden Propeller Clock
I remembered reading a similar post years back, I hadn't realised it was 2011, but here's one for reference. I'd reach out to fleet16b with your question.
