After the interview
Porter will reach out in about two weeks after the interview.
2 weeks have past so fast after the interview for Q400.
No news is good news?

Re: After the interview
There’s a ton of hiring happening. And probably just a few people in charge of it. If you haven’t gotten a PFO, then you’re still in the hunt.
Re: After the interview
Thanks and totally understand that situation, I want to know average time or date of getting PFO after the successful interview.CaptDukeNukem wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 8:02 amThere’s a ton of hiring happening. Re: After the interview
When I interviewed in 2022 it took 3-4 weeks to get my pfo. They’re a bit slow. No news is good news as you said
Re: After the interview
Sounds great. I am looking forward hearing from them soon.
Re: After the interview

Re: After the interview
This bugs me so much about airlines in Canada. In the US they give a CJO, (conditional job offer) pending meeting the rest of the steps like background check, drug screen, references, etc AT THE INTERVIEW. Why is stringing people along "the Canadian way"?
Re: After the interview
Porter does give conditional job offers, just not AT the interview, as those with less than 1,500hrs still have to do sim evals. Once you get and sign the conditional then they process the background, drug test, references etc.
Re: After the interview
what takes them so long to send out the conditional job offer?

Re: After the interview
I imagine it could be a multitude of reasons: PFO that hasn’t been sent yet, class availability, airplane deliveries, candidates with more experience or frankly just a backlog in processing times
