Best advice ever for doing rides:
relax...

I had my CPL and MIFR flight test with him. As long as, you know what you're doing, you're fine. He's trying to give you the licence, so It will happen, as long as, you don't do something unsafe.
and yeah, RELAX.

Instructors generally do not recommend candidates for the ride until they feel you can do it.
I was nervous for my private ride, relaxed for my commercial ride and biting nails for my IFR and passed each on first try.

My CPL ride was pretty easy. Just keep in mind on the power off approach to land, the examiner and give it to you anywhere in the circuit, not just on the downwind. So try a couple from base and final as well.
Cheers to beers,
Good luck

I know him. Make sure you know your documents inside and out. Not to scare you, but know your stuff. If your'e not familiar with flying in and out of St. Catharines, study up on MF procedures.

Hey Pete!
1st, relax, you were ready when I was flying with you, and I'm willing to bet that you are still ready!

The only examiner I know in London is RIchard Moon at Aero Academy. He is good and fair. PM or call if you have questions

relaxation is key... but i don't think anybody is really relaxed when doing a ride
