Accommodations in Kenora?

Im going to be working in Kenora for the summer and just wondering if anyone is looking to share a place with someone or know of someone who is? Any help or leads with somewhere to stay would be appreciated. Keep in mind im on a bush pilot budget!!

Last time I drove through Kenora I was on a roadtrip looking for work. The first night, I threw down my thermarest and down bag in a demo-gazebo that was on display at the hardware store just West of Downtown. The next afternoon, I ended up meeting Mary-jane and Kuby at the bar and Kuby let me sleep in his hangar for the night.

If I was going back to Kenora for the summer, I'd bring a good tent and a cooler and set up shop at the campground. Fits the dirtbag budget...more money for beer and girls. Have fun...

When I lived there in the late 90's, I shared a place with a coworker on Longbow Lake, about 9km east of town on the highway. We shared a 2br lakefront cottage for the summer for about $350 a month each. You might look on the noticeboard at the Longbow lake general store...
