SUMMARY
Sutil Aviation Ltd. operates a King Air 250 for corporate and private use. We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Captain to fly the aircraft according to Transport Canada and Company standard operating procedures.

Located in one of Canada’s most beautiful areas, the King Air 250 Captain role is based in Campbell River on Vancouver Island. This full-time permanent position offers an enviable lifestyle for an experienced member of the aviation industry. Relocation to Campbell River will be required.
Our King Air currently flies approximately 200-250 hours per year, this is a lower hour position that will require flexibility in scheduling and a strong work ethic to help with all aspects of flight department work.
COMPENSATION
• Starting salary of $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience and culture fit
• Per diem allowance when travelling overnight

• 10 vacation days in year 1
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 2,000 hours of flight time with 1,000 hours Multi-Engine
• Type rating for King Air 250 a definite asset
• Conducting flights in strict adherence with regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and Aircraft Standard Operating Procedures
• Completing the pre-flight, in-flight and post flight duties.
• Canadian flight experience in coastal and mountain environments
• Must have current and valid Canadian passport
• Must be able to obtain Transport Canada Restricted Area Pass (RAIC)
• Simulator training on BE20 an asset
• Experience with ProLine Fusion avionics an asset
• Able to meet medical standards
• Must meet requirements established in Client Standards
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability supporting and enhancing safety initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Excellent analytical and decision making skills
• Excellent ability adapting to change
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills

Employers don't pay what they want to pay, they pay what they have to pay. There is motivation to pay employees more if you are mid government contract and the looming reality of being in breach keeps you awake at night. Better a haircut than going bald.
