Float opportunities 2023?

How do I find out the float operators in Ontario for possible float vacancies?

Is there a guide for operators or do I have to internet search .

How is the season looking in terms of float opportunities for the 100 hour float time guy at the minimum experience level.

Look up the TC Civil Aviation registry and search for C185, DHC2, etc.

Appreciate this, I have been on the website before. Just remembered it. My dilemma is I’m looking for a part time float job and I think it’s going to be impossible to find.

Operators need full time guys, I’m ready to go now but part time. I have 100 hours on three type of floats.

I’ll shoot some off and see what happens.

May I ask why part time?

I know guys who fly floats part time but they have thousands of hours on floats.

Although I have seen some rather strange things occur in aviation, I doubt you’ll find anyone whom will find an extremely low time float driver whom can only work part time attractive to say the least.

You can either ditch living in the GTA during the float season or stop dreaming in technicolor…

Part time might be hard to find, if you can find companies offering day rates. That might be your best option. I'm sure you could work something out with an operator that way
