Pitt Meadows accident?
CKNW was saying there has been a crash of a light airplane at Pitt Meadows.
The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

I did not know the man, but I knew the plane. Condolences to the family.

From what I heard this is what happened:
The aircraft in question was landing on 26L and was told to pull up and go around. He initially refused to comlpy with the instrcuction and had to be told again. He then did pull up and go around and proceded to make a tight circuit with all turns steeply banked and low. Seems that he either stalled or spiraled out of of the turn to final.

"I have control!"
