If I remember correctly, there have been a couple of other famous ones.

One at YOW and one up north.

That's about 23 standard gold bars or 625 lbs or half a cubic foot if you're wondering.

Let's see 20m/1800 with a standard bar around 80# or about 1166 troy is per makes it about 10 bars(make it 12 for purity) or between 800-1000#

Well you gotta pay your parking ticket somehow.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

I assume you mean parking fees cause they don't hand out parking fines. People stopped all over the arrivals section without their family in sight. They just park there without a care in the world. No one telling them to move or handing out fines.

So that's how these kids survive on regional salaries in YYZ.

Yeah, I heard they found it with an Apple Airtag. In all seriousness though, who double middle fingered their boss yesterday and said they quit? That's the culprit.

Thats nice to see. I saw dozens parked on the road leading to the terminal parked right next to signs saything no stopping with pictures of cameras.

In my first post I was more referring to the ones at the terminal who were parked when the person they are picking up is no where to be seen. Some aren't even I their vehicle. People who do it properly end up having to pick up their family while double or triple parked cause the ones on the inside lane are pasically parked not moving even the second time I go around.

When I heard his headline, I automatically just assumed 2 metro pilots just finally decided to divert and disappear with the plane load of gold.

It was reported at one point that it was 3600 pounds - but you know, with the media, who knows.

A friend of mine told me that a freight company that he worked for had one gold bar go missing once. They found it a while later being used as a doorstop. Not sure if it's true but it's a good story.
