Hey!! Congratulations! I also received a call just yesterday and got in for IFR Feb 2024. (YVR) I'd love to connect but I am not sure how to direct message. It won't let me.

Hey congrats everyone! I got a seat for the Fall 2023 Session.
Someone on reddit told me the course instructor will reach out prior to the course starting to connect all the students who get a seat/make it through the medicals, background checks ect.

Fall 2023 in YVR is a VFR course, not IFR, just to be clear.

For people that didn't get a call for the IFR Feb 2024 course, hope is not all lost as the course isn't filled up yet. There's more assessments to be done this spring/summer and fall before final spots are filled.

I heard an email with all the information, including medical things will be emailed after the phone call. How many days after the phone call will the email be sent?

Not sure, but I got the call on Thursday and as of Monday I haven’t received the email yet.

Did they mentioned whether it's a standby offer by any chance in the phone call for you?

They said it is a full training seat offer. I forgot the exact wording but they said it is not a standby offer essentially.
