Reserve on WB

Post by garfield »

hello,
My friend just started with AC and told me reserve is very senior. Is it true? Doesn't make sense to me

Otherwise how long usually before you hold a block on WB?

thanks

I wouldn't say it's senior, no. But a lot of people do bid for it. NB as well.

On reserve (not with a sched block) working on a day off will give you your OT rate but you will also get that day off back (by removing a day of reserve in your monthly schedule) giving your more opportunity for even more OT. Reserve is best fit so even with a good seniority number, it is now harder to pass down an assignment on reserve but this is still a great way to make more money.
