Re: Flair Hiring Freeze?
Sort of true. We're adequately staffed for the summer and will continue to run courses later in the year to account for any attrition if required. We are working with the MEC on a variety of scheduling initiatives including reduced blocks and partial schedules, especially for our over 65 pilots who don't want to fly full time.
Between now and spring 2024 we're a bit overstaffed in our YVR base due to the previous loss of 4 tails in March, so have offered a limited amount of up to 8-month LOA's.
In order to head off the rumors and inevitable haters' comments, we take delivery of our next aircraft on 12 June and another a few weeks later once Boeing has it at the delivery center so there is no change to our planned growth.

Not quite. One is a borderline troll, the other is a legitimate CP.
So for the legitimate manager, where are the 2 new tails going?
Re: Flair Hiring Freeze?
So if I got hired tomorrow can I expect the quick upgrade?
Re: Flair Hiring Freeze?
Yes, We'll be likely hiring some DEC's again early 2024 as all eligible pilots on the property will have had the opportunity to bid for Captain and upgrade

Re: Flair Hiring Freeze?
Yes, but don't worry! When Flair does it, it's not an indication of anything being wrong at all.
