Cador question
Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum. I am doing my PPL training. During the solo phase I got a CADOR.. Is it going to affect my license or anything like that ?
Regards,
CaptainX

Re: CADOR during flight training
No.
But your CFI is going to have explain why it's all her fault, what she's going to about it, how she's going to make sure it never never happens again, and give a firm deadline by when all this will be done.
You - don't have to do anything.

DId you hear the one about the jurisprudence fetishist? He got off on a technicality.
Re: CADOR during flight training
Who reported it as your fault? What happened? Why was it not your fault?
You were still a student, but also PIC. Your instructor will likely talk to you about it. TC might ask your CFI what happened, and if they aren't happy with what he told them, they might talk to you. But that's unlikely. And even if they do, it won't affect your licenses or flight tests or anything like that.
I would say the worst case scenario that could happen in your case is a fine. But even that is extremely unlikely.

As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship

Re: CADOR during flight training
A lot more experienced pilots than you have made worse incursions. (I assume, as I haven't read about you on the news!) Unless you make it a habit, it won't have any effect on anything you do, and everyone will forget about it pretty soon.
As for fault: don't get too tied up about whose fault it was. Just apologise and explain the facts.

Re: CADOR during flight training
It still depend what happened exactly, it could have been a very silly report or a more serious one (We still have no idea)
But yes there is some silly Cadors that can only have been reported by true winners

Re: Cador question
It really doesn’t matter whether you were in the right or wrong.
What matters is that you hopefully learned an important lesson. Even more importantly…
PRO TIP:
(Note: The following is applicable towards your CP, TC and also applicable to your significant other!) The magical key words are as follows:
“Yes Captain, my bad, I learned **** from this and I can assure you it won’t happen again”.
