Post your favorite fly in eateries.

One of mine, druxies deli at buttonville, reasonably priced, fantastic montreal smoked on rye.

A short and pleasant walk along the river from Courtenay CAH3 is one of the best on the planet. The Old Mill
Does not matter what you order from the menu it is all the best.
I do wish that the next time i get there they have the Chocolate Torte on the menu .

For you east coasters it has to be Rudders in Yarmouth CYQI,Real ale brewed on site and the best lobsters @9.99 .Oh yeah and the girls in Rudders make the hooter girls look boring.

If you go south Fudruckers in Panama City FL had some nice Oysters

Go all out and get the turtle burgers in the Bahama's

Then there is the nipple ring cafe in Tofino, I can't remember the name of the cafe' downtown . Just the girl their likes to show of her hardware and i think i may have had a large muffin there .Not the muffin i wanted though :P

And then there is the Lakeview

Mary's in YYJ was quaint and historic. The burgers were pretty good too, but that was 20+ years ago....

Peterborough makes a great farmers breakfast....

And Killarney fish & chips are well worth the trip... walk the road too.. dont try the bushwack at the end of the runway.

Book the courtesy car, and head into Goderich.. nice town with great food at the english pub on the main square... cant recall the name though.

Enjoy your new ride.

And if you want to trip and see the town from ground level, the following have courtesy cars at the AP - at least they used to... best to call first.

If you happen to be in southern California, there's an awesome buffalo burger over on Catalina Island, just off the coast of LA. That was the destination for my commercial cross-country from Vancouver. Its a fine place to both land an airplane, and eat a burger!

Another vote here for pie at cycw. I've never seen 40+ types of pie on the menu anywhere else!

Also, not really a fly in eatery, but once, before leaving ZBB for CAP3, I phoned long distance to a Pizzaria in sechelt, and gave them my ETA. By the time I landed and tied down the A/C, the pizza boy was waiting at the airport gate with my pizza. :D

It's a little more difficult to find a good place when you're on floats!

Constance Lake Lodge, just West of Ottawa, has great hamburgers and a good breakfast special if you're out and about early. Charlie Haddad, the owner, is a float pilot himself and so he knows what is good for floatplanes and what is bad for them. The float dock is always clear, he has 100LL available at the dock and he can even sell you a 180 on 2960s if you're in the market!

Druxies reasonably priced, I thought they were a rip off. Good Food though I'll admit that.

My fav, was pulling up to the dock, up north at dinner when the americans are doing up there fish fry.
On wheels I'd have to say that mmmmm. well not fly up but earls in winnipeg, one short crew ride away and we have a great dinner
