Apparently he caused $300 in damage...he will have that paid off 45 minutes into his next flight. Good thing he doesn't fly for a Canadian airline!

Seems like there's a much bigger issue behind his behaviour.

Hope he's been grounded - should not even be driving imho.

Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find in this business

I hope he is ok.
People in general don’t lash out like that unless they have reached their limit. I’d guess this individual has much more going on behind the scenes and I hope he gets the assistance he needs to navigate through it. Once it’s settled, I hope he is able to fly again.

I used to buy parking ahead of time at YYZ, thinking I'd get better rates. Every, single, time I went to exit, the barcode reader wouldn't scan my printed barcode. I would then have to press the call button and wait. This took anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes. I completely understand this pilot's outburst. If I had an axe handy I probably would've been in the news myself on a few of my 20 minute waits after a red-eye with a 3 hour drive ahead of me at 0200.

I now get my ticket as I enter, and pay it as I leave. No amount of savings is worth the risk of going on a axe-barbarian frenzy.
