Delayed this am. -16 in yyc, the person in charge of the air conditioning pushed the Apu to full hot. Cabin was 38 degrees, delayed boarding until cabin came down to 25. As a kid I used to crank the thermostat after a cold walk from school, house would be 90f(ya I'm old).
The q400 uses a duct regulated air temp to set the acm bypass valve. Please do not set to full hot, otherwise we shall have more delays

And why was that a delay?
