Yet Another Exam Question (INRAT)

Post by FlyYukon »

Hi everyone.

I've already recieved some tips from a coworker on here, much appreciated.. but would just like a larger opinion. what areas were more common on the Exam, i.e. Was the MET extensive, and how was the flight planning section?

I'm planning on writing at the end of the month or so, but would like a good start on what to study more.

Thanks all!

From what I remember of the MET section, I found there was alot of GFA questions.

The flight planning wasn't to bad. Plan a trip from A to B. With some questions on time, distance, winds, and comm failures.

Ok! So focus on the GFA's, and the rest is more-orless straight forward. Any other comments?

Thanks!

There are several different exams they can give you, some are heavier in specific areas than others.

If you really want to hedge your bets, know it all. (you should anyway, you're a pilot 8) ) Remember anything in the study guide is fair game.

(sorry, that's not really helpful, is it?)

Keep your head in the MET game at all times, don't be afraid of using the Air Command Weather Manual for some good solid theory. Don't let down your guard, it seems like the easiest stuff to forget.

Good luck and fly safe!
