Air Canada parking A220s
I heard a rumour that AC was parking 3 A220s to use as parts cows do to issues with the engines. Anyone got the Gen on what's going on?
Re: Air Canada parking A220s
I think it's more than that. I heard they currently have 5-6 parked at Mirabel with no engines.

"A220 operators have still had to grapple with some durability issues, compounded by a shortage of spare engines and maintenance bottlenecks that have collectively reduced the supply of working engines and left dozens of planes grounded."

Some personal insight is that pratts maintenance apparatus is suffering from the same issues as AME's in this countries.
Pay peanuts, get monkeys. If you're lucky.

It’s the engine design, Pratt has an updated engine but not out yet. Some 320 NEOs are also being parked due to this issue.Pat Richard wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 6:48 pm "A220 operators have still had to grapple with some durability issues, compounded by a shortage of spare engines and maintenance bottlenecks that have collectively reduced the supply of working engines and left dozens of planes grounded."
