Twin Otters
Does anyone know the S.N.s of the 300S series that were built?
I believe they were used for the Toronto Montreal downtown to downtown flights for a whle but probably not that many constructed.
Must be some Otter buffs out there somewhere.
Thanks

J C I don,t follow you if it was Air Transit that ran these 300S series they were gone about 30 yrs ago and the machines are now all over the world so how does the reg series make any sence?
I think the 300S;s were in the 300SN area but was hoping some Otter buff could say yes they were 6 built from SN 348 to SN 354.

Sorry, what I meant to say was that I believe their registrations were CF-CS something. If ant are still on the Canadian civil register, their serial numbers would then be revealed.
For what it's worth, we could still land them in downtown Toronto Ottawa or Montreal, but there would likely be a violation involved

Transport Canada, Aircraft Services operates some 300S 's
I believe you would see CSU doing pollution patrol in YVR. I think they are de-moded a bit with the spoilers, air conditioning, antiskid and microwave landing systems inop. I could be wrong but I thought Bradley's/First Air DHC-6 CGOES had spoilers inop/screwed down on the wings. Would that indicate it was a 300S?

Anti-skid...in a Twin Otter?? Please say it ain't so!
I had heard a couple of years back, that the aircraft operated by TC were so "bastardized" they could never be registered as civil aircraft...anybody else hear this?
I got to fly some really nice 300's right off the "showroom floor" with NorOntair! Wonder where they went?
