This is the most obscure question I think I have ever read here?might be wrote:Just curious if anybody has any info on how fast Air Georgian pays it's suppliers. This day with so many companies having trouble it pays to be carefull
Why did you choose Georgian as the company to ask this question?

Maybe you should go into business.Swizel wrote:Here's a picture for you ...contact other suppliers!!
I've talked to guys who run machine shops that produce parts for GM, Ford, etc. They said that a lot of upstart shops get all happy that they get an x million dollar contract, only to have pay their suppliers and employees on time and have GM take a year to pay. Pretty soon they run out of cash and go under, not because of lack of profit, but lack of cash flow. Some of the more reputable shops won't touch the car makers for this very reason. This guy's is only doing his homework.
I can't really duplicate my tone of voice on here to reflect my curiosity on the reason behind his question.Bede wrote:Maybe the guy is a supplier and wants to know if it's worthwhile to give the guys credit. A lot of big companies shaft small suppliers.
Cut the guy some slack. It's a ligitamate question.
I realize it's a ligit question...as was mine. I was just being nosey, not looking to give grief.
...now...here's 10 bucks...get a make over.

Pilots are no different than any other employee groups. Some just drive point A to point B and others take an active interest and role in the operation of their company.
Very few pilots are vendors to an airline.
Georgian has been around a while and they would have difficulty with suppliers if they had not been paying their bills. They are probably like any other company and know the priorities of vendors to be paid.
I have worked with aviation companies in past years who don't consider invoices due until 90 days....
If you are not being paid, put some pressure on their AP people.
