Canadian aviation has lost a giant. Christina Thomson passed away recently. Christina was a tireless organizer of WestJet pilots having served on the MEC and most recently, deftly preparing WestJet pilots for a strike as the chair of the Strategic Preparedness and Strike Committee.

Besides her enduring volunteerism, she was also an incredibly fun person to be around and a kick-ass pilot. I am privileged to have known her.
