Bose A20 vs A30
Has anyone had experience flying with both? I'm looking to upgrade from my lightspeed zulu 1s to either the Bose A20 or A30s. Not sure if the newer model justifies an extra $150. Whats everyone thoughts / experience?
Re: Bose A20 vs A30
My experience is the A30 is more sensitive to requiring a perfect seal and will make more annoying sounds when not perfectly sealed. I’m sticking with the A20
Re: Bose A20 vs A30
The Bose A30 was slightly more comfortable, but the upgrades are not worth the additional $150 if you have the Bose A20 already.

Could go with the Zulu 3 as well. Fantastic and durable headset.

I've had quality issues with Lightspeed and crap customer service for warranty. I'll never buy another one.

Not worth the upgrade. But if forced to choose, i'd go A30 cause of the noise cancellation ear tap.

Re: Bose A20 vs A30
I second the answer that the A30 is very sensitive to a perfect seal and that it produces annoying sounds. I sent back the A30 and got the A20 because the A30 makes annoying sounds due to a less good seal/less clamping force compared to the A20. Not worth it.

Thanks all for the insight. Looks like I'll pocket my $150 and get the A20s.
